Frequently asked questions
What is arbitrage trading software?
It is software that looks for short-lived price differences, for example between a fast data feed and a slower broker quote, or between related instruments or exchanges, and trades them automatically. Products range from free MetaTrader EAs to full professional platforms.
Is forex latency arbitrage still possible in 2026?
Yes, but it is harder than it used to be. Brokers have better tools for spotting classic one-sided latency trading, so modern platforms combine several strategies and broker-specific settings. Our 2026 guide covers this in detail.
What is the difference between forex and crypto arbitrage?
Forex arbitrage usually exploits feed latency between a fast source and a broker. Crypto arbitrage more often trades price gaps between exchanges or between trading pairs. The tools, risks and costs differ, so we review both separately.
Can I start with a free arbitrage EA?
A free EA is a reasonable way to learn the concept on a demo account. For live trading, speed, broker connectivity and risk controls matter much more, which is where paid platforms usually earn their price.
How are the scores calculated?
Each program is rated on four criteria: speed and execution, strategies and features, broker compatibility, and value for money. The overall score summarises those ratings, and every review explains the reasoning.
